I can't knit and type at the same time!

Augh! I haven't posted in...forever. Know why? Because my hands have been busy.

As of my last posting, I was working on a purse to match the tote bag for my friend at work. It's done! And I was getting ready to do a tote in black and grey for another co-worker. Also done! And I was noodling over how neat it would look to do an entrelac clutch purse. Guess what? DONE-designed, knit, felted and donated to Hubby's school for a silent auction ($60- not too shabby!)

The bath mat and sweater vest are resting now, as other projects are grabbing my interest more. The free form purse is not coming out the way I imagined it, and not in a serendipitous, "this is an awesome creation!" kind of way. So, I think I may rip it out and use the yarns for mittens (the novelty yarn makes an adorable cuff!) The wrap cardigan is a new project on the needles- I have a wedding to attend, and don't have a dress with long sleeves, so I decided to make a wrap from a pattern I cut out ages ago. With size 13 needles, it's shaping up pretty quickly, since it's mostly just a shawl with very basic sleeves.

I'm signed up to have a booth at the Christmas bazaar at the kids' school in early December, so I am trying to whip up some belts, hats and scarves in the next couple weeks to give myself a base inventory of quick projects. Once I have a bunch of small stuff on hand, I can do a few of the more time consuming projects (the Onalee purse, maybe another wrap or two) as well as trying to solicit custom projects.

Well, enough typing- I have knitting to do!
